COLORADO BOOK AWARDS 2017

I received the most wonderful surprise—an email telling me that Stalking Ground has been named a finalist in the Colorado Book Awards mystery category. I’m thrilled. This recognition by the Colorado Humanities & Center for the Book has been granted to many of my favorite authors throughout the years, and I’m so grateful that one of my books has joined the list this year. A complete listing of the finalists can be found on the Colorado Humanities website here.

Finalists in the mystery category are scheduled on April 14 at 7:00 pm for the CBA Finalist Reading Series at the Book Bar, 4280 Tennyson Street, in Denver. Winners will be announced in late May. I’ll keep you posted on the events both here on my blog and on my Facebook page.

In this photo, I’m reading an excerpt from Stalking Ground to our pack here at home, practicing for the real thing at the Book Bar. The yellow lab is Lily, the border collie Tess, and the German shorthair is Hannah. They love to listen to tales about Robo during story time!
